Kobi Jaro

Creating experiences that bring people together.

I’ve hosted supper clubs in Medellín, coordinated hip-hop shows in Los Angeles, sold luxury trips across Colombia, and worked with hundreds of restaurants as a hospitality consultant in New York. I plan experiences around food and live performance, and I track the data so each one is better than the last. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and professional in French. I’m a fast learner, adaptable and open, and I’ve brought deep care to each role I’ve had the chance to pursue.

Figure 8

Customer success and project management for Pepsi Local Eats.
Fellow, Hospitality ConsultingNew York, NYMarch 2026 to October 2026

From March to October 2026, I helped hundreds of restaurants through the Pepsi Local Eats program.

The program gives independent restaurants a complimentary, Pepsi-funded photoshoot and printed marketing materials. I worked with 30 to 50 of them a week, in English and Spanish.

My job was to bring a human touch to every restaurant I talked to, while tracking the data closely and improving our processes behind the scenes. I worked in HubSpot and Excel every day for data analysis, and I used AI tools to move faster.

Customer success

Operators know their business best. I treated them that way. When someone was unhappy, I listened first, held policy where it mattered, and gave clear next steps.

Resolved operator escalations with care and clear policy

Project management and logistics

I scheduled each restaurant’s intro call and photoshoot, handled registration, and placed the marketing order. Several teams touched every booking, so I kept them in sync.

Redesigned the marketing request process: 30% fewer redundant inquiries

HubSpot and data

HubSpot was our source of truth. I kept records, pipeline stages, and communications accurate, then dug into the data in HubSpot and Excel to find where operators got stuck.

34% fewer operators stuck waiting to complete their photoshoot

AI

I trained and tested an AI text agent with Claude across HubSpot and Zoom Phone. I worked through the edge cases and fixed its errors.

Good systems make room for better hospitality

Follow-up made the difference. Consistent, personal outreach, tracked in HubSpot, cut the process in half.

When I translated our outreach templates into Latin American Spanish and built an FAQ guide for intro calls, Spanish-speaking restaurants started finishing their photoshoots at a much higher rate.

The Colombian Trip

Exceptional travel experiences, thoughtfully
managed from start to finish.
Travel Sales LeadMedellín, ColombiaNovember 2024 to December 2025

I sold the trip, then made sure every aspect was unforgettable.

At a 10-person boutique destination management company, I worked with 50+ VIP clients on trips averaging $10,000+. I handled both inbound and outbound leads and ran the full cycle myself: first call, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close, at a 25% close rate.

My job didn’t end at the sale. I booked every trip, from hotels and guides to activities and transportation, and made sure each one was personal and accurate down to the small things, from birthday cakes to firm pillows.

Before a client ever arrived, I went on familiarization trips and site visits to vet hotels and vendors in person.

The hospitality engagement system I built

Hospitality from the first email

I came up with a hospitality engagement system inside our Monday.com CRM, pitched it to leadership, and built it. Workflows and scheduled messages reached each client at the right moments with details that felt personal. Then I trained the full sales team on it, and it became our standard engagement workflow.

Medellín Supper Club

Creating community among expats, digital nomads, and locals.
Founder + Event PlannerMedellín, ColombiaNovember 2024 to November 2025

My master’s thesis in Barcelona was a plan for a community dining series. In Medellín, I brought it to life.

On the first Thursday of every month, I brought expats, digital nomads, and locals together at a local restaurant. I vetted hundreds of restaurants to find 12 partners, and I handled everything around the meal: invitations, RSVPs, dietary needs, seating, décor, and menus.

I was also the host. I was in touch with guests before each dinner and kept them engaged throughout the night with intentional seating and conversations.

I tracked attendance every month. Half of each month’s guests came back for the next one.

An independent hip-hop collective, and my first lesson in event production.
Event CoordinatorLos Angeles, CAJune 2018 to June 2020

Bringing 200+ people together meant owning every detail, before, during, and after the show.

This role grew out of my minor in Music Industry at USC. I was in charge of a team of seven, and we handled marketing, sponsorships, merchandise, site visits, vendors, and day-of production. 80% of our shows sold out.

The experience inspired me to go deeper into events in Barcelona, where I earned my master’s in Business Tourism with a specialty in Event Management.

Improv helps me listen and think on my feet.
